Geoscience building at Stockholm University is situated in the middle of Sweden's first national city park and is characterised by natural beauty, unique architecture and contemporary art. In the building you will find the following deparments:

How to find us

The Frescati campus can easily be reached by:

Underground (the red line, bound for Mörby centrum) to the station "Universitetet". The station is situated 120 meters south-west from the Geoscience Building). The journey takes 10 minutes from the "T-Centralen", the underground station at the Stockholm Central Station.

Suburban train Roslagsbanan to the halt "Universitetet". Than you have to walk about 500 hundred metres east to reach the building.

Bus number 50 (from e.g. Odenplan) or 540. The bus stop at "Universitetet Norra" is located next to the underground station, 100 meters west from the Geoscience Building. Some of the buses with numbers from 600 (from Roslagen to Östra station) also stop at the underground station.

Bike or walk, for example alongside the Brunnsviken (bay), along the Roslagsvägen (road) or through the Lill-Jans skogen (wood/park). 

Go by car using Roslagsvägen (the road from Roslagstull towards Norrtälje), Frescativägen, Svante Arrhenius väg. There are parking places at Svante Arrhenius väg, north of the Geo-Science Building (and also south of the South Block).
