Application dates for Master Programmes
January 15 – Last date to apply for Master Programmes for all applicants
October 17 – First day to apply for the autumn semester

Students from outside EU/EES, who need to get residence permit, visa, housing etc., should apply as early as possible to give time for such practical things. The application need to be done between October 17 and January 15 via www.universityadmissions.se.

EU: European Union.
EEA: European Economic Agreement; Iceland, Norway, Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Application process for Master Programmes
All applications must be sent through www.universityadmissions.se. The number of students admitted to each of our programmes is limited and admission is granted on a competitive basis. Candidates will be selected by an admission committee.

Costs (Application fee and Tuition fee) and Visa requirements
Applicants from countries outside the EU, the EEA and Switzerland are required to pay and Tuition fees for all studies. Fees do not apply to students who are citizens of countries within the EU/EEA/Switzerland, students coming to Sweden as part of an exchange agreement, or students who have been granted Swedish residency for reasons other than studies.

Application process for Master’s students at the department
If you are a student at any of our Master programmes and have optional courses to apply for please note that all application is made via www.universityadmissions.se. You can apply for courses at other departments and universities but consult your program responsible if you have questions about your study plan. Please do not apply for mandatory courses within your study program. You will automatically get a place at all mandatory courses within your study programme if taken in the right order of time. Deadline for application is 15 October for spring term courses and 15 April for autumn term courses.

Free course places and late application
Late application is only possible to make via universityadmissions.se. If a course is open for late application it does not mean that you automatically will get admitted. You might get placed as a reserve and if we have any seats available at the time the course starts we will contact reserves. It is not possible to make late applications for master’s programmes.
