Tellus I – Physical Geography, 15 credits is a basic distance course in Earth sciences. The course deals with hydrology, mass movements, rivers and flooding, oceans, coast lines, groundwater, the atmosphere and climate, arid regions, geomorphology, Quaternary geology and global changes. The course is obligatory for students of the Bachelor distance program in Geosciences, together with Tellus I – Geology, Tellus II, Tellus III and the field study in Geoscience.

The course is a component of the Bachelor's Programme in Earth Science, Distance Learning, 180 credits, and it can also be taken as an individual course.
