The course focus on planning and implementing a landscape ecological project. The research questions include both temporal and spatial perspectives and landscape ecological theory. The aim with the project is to investigate how landscape structure and dynamics affect ecological processes, ecosystems, plant or animal occurrences. The course includes several experimental designs for collecting data and how these can be analyzed depending on the question at hand. Particular focus is placed on conservation issues that include both spatial and temporal processes.
