Paleoglaciology (GE7058) From March 15: The course is planned for distance tuition, except for an excursion in August (if possible). From March 15: All compulsory parts of the course is planned to take place via distance tuition. Some voluntary elements may occur on campus as well as a voluntary excursion to Idre by rental car with shared accommodation at a mountain lodge. Home examination.
Quaternary Sedimentology (GE7053 The course is planned for a mix between distance tuition and teaching on campus. Some comulsory parts of the course are planned to take place on campus, including one day in the laboratory and one excersise. We also plan for 5 field days in Småland. Home examination.
International Environmental Issues (GE7084) The course is mainly planned for distance tuition with possibly a few on-campus activities. Most compulsary activities will be through distance tuition. A few seminars may be held on campus, if possible. Home examination.
Applied Aerial Photographic Techniques for Landscape analysis (GE7082) The course is planned for a mix between distance tuition and teaching on campus. Certain excersises will take place on campus in smaller groups, if possible. Exam on campus, if possible.
Project in Landscape Ecology (GE8030) Distance tuition including own field activity. Distance tuition. Home examination.
Climate Model Simulations (GE7077) The course is planned for distance tuition. Distance tuition. Home examination.
Land-Water Risk Assessment and Management Methods (GE8031 The course is mainly planned for distance tuition. We will meet in the University for an EIA workshop of two days. I can sort the students in different rooms so do not go over the limit of 8 people per room. All compulsory teaching is planned to be given in distance tuition mode, while non-compulsory activities may occur on campus. In distance me and TAs will give lectures and computer labs. Examination is planned in the form of home examination.

Advanced Hydrology (GE8032) The course is mainly planned for distance teaching. Certain compulsory teaching is planned to be given on campus: For Module 1, the students need to have access to the lab computers in U30 or U32, the remote sensing software used are too heavy for distance learning and cannot be operated from the student’s personal computers. However, we will comply with guidelines to not allow more than eight persons per room, including TA and teacher. Other modules can be down with distance tuition. Examination is planned in the form of home examination.
Advanced Hydrogeology (GE8033) The course is mainly planned for distance teaching. Certain compulsory teaching is planned to be given on campus: labs, approx. one or two occasions. Some non-compulsory on-campus activities may also occur. Examination is planned in the form of home exercises, seminar assignments with remote attendance, and project work as written reports and remote presentations.  
Environmental Management in Planning (GE7083) The course is mainly planned for distance teaching. Certain compulsory teaching is planned to be given on campus or in the field: [if it is still possible at the time, we will have a study visit to the Stockholm Royal Seaport. All lectures and seminars will be distance-based tuition] Examination is planned in the form of home exam and written report on group work. 
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) (GE4030) The course is entirely planned for distance teaching. All compulsory teaching is planned to be given in distance tuition mode. Examination is planned in the form of a short written report and home examination via the Athena learning portal.
Earth Science by Distance Learning - Specialisation (GE5023) The course is entirely planned for distance teaching. All compulsory teaching is planned to be given in distance tuition mode. Examination is planned in the form of home exam, written report and presentation.
Glaciology (GE7052) The course is entirely planned for distance teaching. All compulsory teaching is planned to be given in distance tuition mode, while non-compulsory activities may occur on campus. Examination is planned in the form of home examination.
Permafrost – Interactions with ecosystems and hydrology (GE7051) The course is entirely planned for distance teaching. All compulsory teaching is planned to be given in distance tuition mode, while non-compulsory activities may occur on campus. Quaternary climate and environmental reconstructions (GE7076) The course is partially planned for campus teaching. Certain compulsory teaching is planned to be given on campus: [1 day of core lithostratigraphy lab (week 4), 4 days of dendroclimatology lab (week 5), 4 days of plant macrofossil lab (week 6), 4 days of pollen analysis lab (week 7) and 4 days of diatom analysis lab (week 8). All lab activities will take place in small groups in rooms where social distancing can be kept (1.5 m).] Examination is planned in the form of home examination, and written reports.
