Advanced Hydrology (GE8032) The course is mainly planned for distance teaching. Certain compulsory teaching is planned to be given on campus: For Module 1, the students need to have access to the lab computers in U30 or U32, the remote sensing software used are too heavy for distance learning and cannot be operated from the student’s personal computers. However, we will comply with guidelines to not allow more than eight persons per room, including TA and teacher. Other modules can be down with distance tuition. Examination is planned in the form of home examination.
Advanced Hydrogeology (GE8033) The course is mainly planned for distance teaching. Certain compulsory teaching is planned to be given on campus: labs, approx. one or two occasions. Some non-compulsory on-campus activities may also occur. Examination is planned in the form of home exercises, seminar assignments with remote attendance, and project work as written reports and remote presentations.  
Environmental Management in Planning (GE7083) The course is mainly planned for distance teaching. Certain compulsory teaching is planned to be given on campus or in the field: [if it is still possible at the time, we will have a study visit to the Stockholm Royal Seaport. All lectures and seminars will be distance-based tuition] Examination is planned in the form of home exam and written report on group work. 
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) (GE4030) The course is entirely planned for distance teaching. All compulsory teaching is planned to be given in distance tuition mode. Examination is planned in the form of a short written report and home examination via the Athena learning portal.
Earth Science by Distance Learning - Specialisation (GE5023) The course is entirely planned for distance teaching. All compulsory teaching is planned to be given in distance tuition mode. Examination is planned in the form of home exam, written report and presentation.
Glaciology (GE7052) The course is entirely planned for distance teaching. All compulsory teaching is planned to be given in distance tuition mode, while non-compulsory activities may occur on campus. Examination is planned in the form of home examination.
Permafrost – Interactions with ecosystems and hydrology (GE7051) The course is entirely planned for distance teaching. All compulsory teaching is planned to be given in distance tuition mode, while non-compulsory activities may occur on campus. Examination is planned in the form of home examination [exercise reports and seminar assignments].
Quaternary climate and environmental reconstructions (GE7076) The course is partially planned for campus teaching. Certain compulsory teaching is planned to be given on campus: [1 day of core lithostratigraphy lab (week 4), 4 days of dendroclimatology lab (week 5), 4 days of plant macrofossil lab (week 6), 4 days of pollen analysis lab (week 7) and 4 days of diatom analysis lab (week 8). All lab activities will take place in small groups in rooms where social distancing can be kept (1.5 m).] Examination is planned in the form of home examination, and written reports.
