Gustaf Hugelius has been the editor-in-chief of a report released at the Arctic Council's ministerial meeting today (https://arctic-council.org/en/resources/reykjavik/). The report deals with the globally important wetlands in the Arctic with recommendations on how these areas should be managed in the future.

Wetlands are important for animal habitats and migration routes and they also play a major role in maintaining healthy ecosystems, biodiversity, carbon dioxide storage and other ecosystem services.
