Kebnepakteglaciären (67°55'N, 18°34'E) is well documented from photographs since the late 19th century. The glacier is a cirque or mountain glacier with an undulating longitudinal surface profile. It is steep and heavily crevassed ending with an ice cliff in the lake Tarfalajaure. In 1945 this calving cliff was 25 metres high and during the 1950s the cliff vanished and during the last 30 years there have been no change in frontal position and the snout is situated just at the shoreline
Maps of the glacier of some different character from the years 1910, 1925, 1949, 1959, 1969, 1980 and 1990.
